COMMITTEE MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE ON
SATURDAY 20TH FEBRUARY AT 10 AM AT LINGFIELD LIBRARY
The Annual Parish Assembly will be held on Wednesday 21st April 2010 in the Dormansland Memorial Hall. This is a meeting which gives villagers the opportunity to meet the Councillors (Parish, District and County) and receive reports based on Village developments over the previous twelve months. All Dormansland residents are very welcome and there will be opportunity to raise concerns and ask questions. The Guest Speaker has been confirmed as Mr. Colin Pearse, Community Highways Officer at Surrey County Council. Light refreshments will be served.
OVERGROWN HEDGES AND TREESSeveral complaints have been received about overhanging branches and untrimmed hedges in the village. The Parish Council appreciates that some residents may not be fully aware of the problem if entering and exiting their property by car, but would urge everyone to please pay attention to their boundaries as overhanging growth causes a danger to pedestrians, particularly the elderly, disabled and those with pushchairs or young children.
