There are several schools close to the village to meet the needs of families with children.

The parish has a pre-school and a primary school which generally feed a secondary school in nearby Oxted. This large secondary school is only two stops on the train or accessible by the school bus service. The National Centre for Children with Epilepsy in also located in the parish.
