Are you struggling to pay your bills?

On Monday 11 December, from 10am, residents with low incomes can apply for a small grant from the Tandridge Household Support Fund, aimed at helping with financial pressures.

The government funding is limited. Residents should apply as soon as possible, as we will close the application process when the money has been allocated. Residents can apply even if they have received a grant from this fund before.

Eligible households with children will receive £350 and households without children £150.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Catherine Sayer, said: “This support is crucial for people in the district who are struggling financially and may find it difficult to heat their homes or buy food. Please let your friends, family or neighbours know about these grants, even if they have received a grant before, they can apply again.

For residents without internet access, The Westway Centre in Caterham and Citizens Advice can help complete online applications. You can also apply by visiting the Council Offices in Oxted from Monday 11 December - please remember to bring all the documents we need with you.”
